Digital Torque Screwdriver / Tester
Cedar DIS-RL2 Digital Torque Screwdriver / Tester is ergonomically designed, extremely lightweight and good for use as a production tool. The instrument can be used to tighten or loosen screws up to 17.4 lbf-in. The remote sensor design allows it to be used in difficult to reach places. The DIS-RL2 can be used to evaluate torque controlled screwdrivers by doing comparative tests on a given fastener. Both breakaway and loosening tests can be performed. DIS-RL2 substantially reduces scrap and rework costs by eliminating over and under-tightening of screws. It is ideal for use in a wide variety of applications including the manufacture of electronic, appliance and aerospace assemblies.
The Cedar DIS-RL2 Digital Torque Screwdriver has an accuracy of ±0.5%, ± 1 LSD. It offers programmable high and low setpoints for uniform tightening or Go/No Go testing. The DIS-RL2 has an 800 data memory for recall or for SPC download. The unit can also provide peak and continuous data for SPC (statistical process control) through the USB virtual COM port with the use of SW-1SV-USB Imada Torque Data Acquisition Software.
Sold in kit form including display unit, screwdriver with 3′ cable, 2 Phillips bits, AC adapter/charger and carrying case. DIS-RL2 includes two 1/4″ Phillips tips.
All new gauges include a 3-point calibration certificate traceable to NIST. ISO-17025 certificates are available at an additional charge.
