Unified Wine & Grape 2018 Symposium

Every January, the Unified Wine and Grape Symposium trade show is home to the largest wine and grape industry conference and trade show of its kind in North America. More than 14,000 industry professionals attend.
The 2018 Symposium hosts more than 700 booths and 28 large vineyard and winery machinery areas. The exposition encompasses a wide range of products related to the wine and grape industry and includes international representation in both sessions and exhibits.
Imada is demonstrating a wine cork extractor that features a simple downward lever stroke to extract a cork and simultaneously measure the peak extraction force. Bottles are quickly changed out of the holding fixture.
Imada’s digital cap torque tester checks the peak opening torque of screw caps. The color-coded LEDs indicate pass or fail conditions. The tester accommodates bottles up to four inches in diameter.
Peak extraction force or opening torque data can be sent to optional data acquisition software.
